My hen was broody and I placed her in the crate.
Finally today she seems normal but when I put her back with the other chickens, they are all attacking her.
She was in the crate for about a 2 weeks.
Do I need to interfere or is this something she needs to work out on her own and regain her position in the flock?

Peeps covered the re-integration aspect.

I'll ask:
Was the crate in the coop and/or run?
Here's some tips for next time.
I let my broody out of breaker crate every day, sometimes twice, just to let her do chicken and flock things.
But I have time to observe and put her back in the crate if/when she goes back to the nest.

My experience went like this: After her setting for 3 days and nights in the nest, I put her in a wire dog crate with smaller wire on the bottom but no bedding, set up on a couple of 4x4's right in the coop and I would feed her some crumble a couple times a day.

I let her out a couple times a day(you don't have to) and she would go out into the run, drop a huge turd, race around running, take a vigorous dust bath then head back to the nest... at which point I put her back in the crate. Each time her outings would lengthen a bit, eating, drinking and scratching more and on the 3rd afternoon she stayed out of the nest and went to roost that evening...event over, back to normal tho she didn't lay for another week or two.
Water nipple bottle added after pic was taken.

Thank you Aart,

Excellent advice. Will definitely do it that way next time.
I did not have her with the other chickens....she was in the garage.
Makes sense that she should remain with them, but unable to go into the laying box.
Kinda makes you wonder though about their intelligence if they forget who their flockmate
was after less than 2 weeks?
