Broody egg fight---Girls gone wild--broody chicken version

I have a little Silkey that is/was broody on 4 eggs, and doing O.K. My little Cochin took over with her chick, forcing the silkey to try to hatch golf balls. Should I intervene, or just let the girls fight it out. The cochin was/is a good mom, and the Silkey was super protective till she got booted.

The cochin has a chick, and is trying to sit on eggs?
I would say separate the silkie on a nest, and let her finish up. I dunno???

Yeah, if the Cochin already has a chick at her side, she can't be a good mom to it and be on the eggs for weeks. Tell her to get her own!
