I had a feeling it was a rooster, so I got my son another Buff Brahma (a hen) back in June. He is completely bonded to the replacement, which is what I was hoping would happen. I have a new home lined up for the little rooster..I think he will be very happy. I so appreciate everyone’s help! I have learned a lot about Buff Brahmas..they are much slower to develop than any breed we’ve ever had. Here is my son with his new girl!

I posted photos about a month ago of this chicken, but I am still uncertain of the sex. I’ve never had Buff Brahmas before, and this is the only one we have. It is about 13 weeks old now, and I haven’t had any obvious signs that have pointed to a rooster in terms of behavior. Any thoughts?
I know this is an old post. I am just wondering what sex the bird ended up being because to me the bird looks just like all my hens at that age

Buff Brahma roosters are so pretty. I would have nothing but. Mine are now 6 months old about 2 and a half feet tall fat heavy and gorgeous. Oh and so sweet
