Buff Brahma without feathered legs?

Ok, I'd have to change my stance... that does look like a pea comb. and I don't even see feather buds on the legs. So strange. Gonna go peruse MPC to see what they have going on...

Keeping in mind that they source from other hatcheries...

My Pet Chicken shares space with Meyers hatchery. They have some of their own stock, as well as those they get from Meyers.

We recently (few weeks ago) got 3 Australorp pullets and what was supposed to be a Brahma... She's growing much faster than the others but same deal... no leg feathers. It's going to be interesting to see how she turns out. Right now she looks mostly like an ISA Brown. She is already by far the most social hen we've got, the second being our ISA Brown that is a couple months older. This mystery bird is going to be much bigger than our ISA Brown if she continues at this rate.
