Buff Orp 8 week old cockerels...?

These two are 8 weeks old. We’ve made assumptions that they were cockerels from the start, though they haven’t even attempted to crow yet(maybe once?). They also strut and fight each other and puff out their chests, though these only last for a few seconds. Bubbles is very skittish.

I have 6 week old black lavender Orpingtons and they are big as these almost with no cones or wattles either as I would hope for hens as they were sold to me straight from hatchery and they look just the same as yours - but black with white patches on their breasts.

Yes it definitely is. my hens fight all the time over that

My neighbors have a female buff orp. and her tail looks kinda pointed. I'd say bubbles is definitely a pullet

Hard for me to say but I will see if I can get some pics of mine later this evening if I can get them to hold still long enough. I will post them ASAP you can compare.

One of my buffs had such a large, red comb and wattles at 10-12 weeks we thought she was a male until she laid an egg at 16 weeks. I think some can just mature faster than others. Yours look like pullets to me
