He's beautiful but that is not a buff orpington. Looks like a RIR or new hampshire.

I ordered 3 buff orpingtons and 3 ameraucanas from the hatchery. All were suppose to be pullets. Got 2 buff orpington roosters. Not happy.
Arg right! But that one rooster is not a buff orpington.
That may be what you ordered, but the bird pictured is neither BO or Easter Egger (more than likely what you actually got when you ordered Ameraucana - depending on the hatchery you ordered from)

I would suggest posting photos of your entire flock - we can help you identify what you received vs. what you ordered.

Just looked at rir and new hamp and does look a lot like a new hampshire with the black tail feathers and all. Wow!! Thanks.
