Hi, all!
Firstly, I have seven lovely chicks that I got from Meyer's as a sexed as female group. Two of them are Buff Orpingtons.
It's six weeks in and Dorothy and DT don't look the same. I'm worried Dorothy might not be a lady. Her comb is larger, much redder, and she has noticeable wattles. So I took pictures of them both. The first three pictures are Dot. The second three are Deets. (And a bonus image of my calico, much enamored with the towel the girls were on.)
Please tell me it's normal for pullets to look different, even if the same breed. We really weren't planning on keeping a roo.
