Bumblefoot Treatment - how long?

About two months ago, Cammi got bumblefoot on both her feet. This is our first time treating bumblefoot, so we don't really understand the process I guess. We did several epsom salt baths and pulled out white things a few times. For about a month, we pulled of the scab and redressed it almost every day. We realized that we needed to stop doing the baths, so we are now just redressing her feet every day.

Is it supposed to go on for two months? Her feet are still swollen, but not infected, I am pretty sure. I am getting tired of redressing her foot every day. How do you know when to stop and let her feet not be bandaged?

When she is healed. If the scab is gone and she's walking ok, she's done. If not, continue with soaking and pus removal. I think if her feet are still swollen, it's not gone.

I wonder, what does the swelling indiciate exactly? Its not pink.
