He does look rather like a partridge Cochin male, doesn't he? I do like Emerson's looks better than his dad's, Ellie. Very handsome!

I'll have to look up what a partridge cochin looks like. His mom is a black standard cochin and of course, his dad is the GL cochin.

My Partridge that we hatched ourselves had really pretty red but didn't meet the breed standards. His father did though. He almost looked exactly like Emerson.

This my Partridge Henry. he has the right pattern but the red isn't dark enough.
