BYC SEWING/QUILTING CLUB

I haven't picked out your towel... if you want one... lemme know I can make it happen still. Any color. There are also some darling chicken scenes on emblibrary.com as well that I've been tempted to buy, like this http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/Products.aspx?Catalog=Emblibrary&ProductID=a6624 but it's hard to say if I'm the only one that LOVES the toile look.
And this.... http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/Products.aspx?Catalog=Emblibrary&ProductID=b2470

(I'm not a rooster fan, but this is cute)
Oh and I have this too... love these! http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/Products.aspx?Catalog=Emblibrary&ProductID=a3774

Oh
this makes me so excited for this months towel swap.

I love all of them!! Just surprise me with whatever one you would like to make!! I really liked the blue on the one you did already. But really I do love surprises!!

I just finished this rag quilt to sell locally so I can buy more fabric for my stash! The dark print is actually a dark chocolate color with pink butterflies and flowers.

I love your quilt. It looks so inviting to cuddle up with. Where on Okinawa do you live? I lived there for three years many, many years ago. I lived in Ishikawa until we moved on base.

I love the chickadee, Eastbaychicks!

Tabsmonsters, that quilt is adorable!

I'm working on the quilt for my nephew now... I don't remember if I posted a picture of the top or not. My sister is having some dificulties with the pregnancy and even though he isn't due until July 17th, he may be here much sooner. So I'm rushing to try to get it done! Then I have to get to work on the one for my friend in Seattle. She's due June 4th (and I planned to work on it before my nephew's quilt originally), but she called last week and was already 2 cm, so the baby is coming sometime soon, too! I have that top almost done (just borders left to put on it). So I am going to try to get that top done in the next week so I can take it with us on vacation. Hopefully I can have both quilts done by the time we return from our vacation!

To all you experienced quilters out there-please explain to me what "fat quarter" means!! I've seen it used a lot in material sales so I think it has to do with the amount of material. Gotta learn something today!!!!
