Cackle hatchery

Anyone bought silver duckwing bantys from cackle if so do you recomend them

I think this is one. He/She came in a Bantam Surplus run.

I purchased 5 silver duckwings. Not sure if I got the banties, or full sized phoenix though(fiance placed the order)

Overall, I was happy with them. HOWEVER, when my shipment arrived we had a total count of 25 birds + 2 extra (we ordered 25), BUT they also sent a card saying "You are getting this card because your shipment is short". After calling customer service, we were told our duckwings were never sent as the batch of eggs was bad, and had to be thrown out. We still have 5 chicks that LOOK like our phoenix, but I can't say 100% sure they are. They also told us they would not be having any more for the season. (So if you are seeing bantams, perhaps they were full-sized?)

Out of the 27 chicks all arrived alive, however we did lose 4 chicks. (and I can't blame cackle; as some deaths are expected here and there)


The possible duckwing??
