I want one sooo bad!!!!! I love them.
I live in Sharon, VT and I have looked everywhere for a calico/mille fleur cochin. I honestly think that they are the most beautiful chickens ever!!
Does anybody know where I can find a hen or 2??????


I do own a silver laced (roo) and golden laced (hen) COCHINS!
If I let them hatch out a few chicks would it be a possibility to get a calico? I honestly know nothing about it.

April I have hatching eggs from my group if you are interested...

You will not get calico or mille fleur from your pair, you need specific doses of hysterical mottled and buff columbian to make those colors.

Thanks for getting back to me! I appreciate it. I am not ready for eggs as I have no incubator nor do I know anything about it. I was more looking into finding a young or adult bird just for my pleasure of having one. I just can't get over how pretty they are. I wonder if I would have any luck finding one at a poultry show?
