Did you breed them?
Yes, the black d’Anvers are the ones I’ve been showing since I started, so they are my babies I bred 🥰 Another reason I was excited! The mottled pullet is one of mine too. My rooster Jager got RV but had gotten Best of Breed in Paso Robles in December, he’s a gorgeous boy! 😍

I haven't been here in a long time. I'm retiring from having chickens and have all my stuff for sale on the sale thread, if anyone is interested. I'm in Guinda, Yolo County. Have a mobile coop, incubators, hatcher, exhibition cages.

Hello all you crazy cluckers, it's been a few years at least since I've been skulking around these parts!

We lost our original flock to a neighbor's dog that got loose and are no longer in that neighborhood.

Built a new coop last year and have a new small flock. However, I really miss some of the breeds we used to have. I am in search of:

A true Ameraucana
Olive egger
Black Copper Marans
Light Brahma

Looking in the Nevada County area as I'd rather do local/semi-local over feed stores or hatcheries.
