I am so glad I got him I wanted a magpie like him and one that was more black but a lady had gotten there before me and took all the darker magpies

If we took him an one of my bibbed I bet we would get some NICE magpies.

I am so frustrated, I took a peek at my eggs and Im not sure if I like what I see (too early, only day 3)

nevermind i looked again tonight and i saw veins, im probably candling too much

On day 3 I candled them and all I saw were spots and no veining so I thought they had died early, but then I candled them again the next day and I saw veins (about half of the 25 eggs are developing and the air cells are looking a little better). I've candled every night since then-I am very impatient-and tonight is day 6.

It all depends on the hen you use with these guys.
You could get magpies, anconas, pied or possibly other colors depending on the genes your female carries
