it's not a mixed breed, even though it looks like it, because tractor supply doesn't sell mixed breeds.

TSC does sell some mixes, but only ones that the hatchery provides with a name and a particular purpose (example: ISA Brown is a mix that lays plenty of eggs, where the males and females are different colors at hatch.)

But you are right they don't sell just random mixes.

I would say possibly a California White, but the comb doesn't match him.

You are correct that the comb is wrong for California White. The red in the shoulders is also wrong for that breed.
