Can you take some more photos? I'm going to tentatively say buff orpington due to what looks like an even golden color and what is probably a single comb, but a clear, lit photo of him would help tremendously : D

I can’t see anything, but for my pre-guess I’m gonna guess Black Copper Marans. I’ll wait till better pictures to officially say anything.

Were did you get him? What hatchery/feed store? Or Craigslist? Maybe we can look there, or there is a picture from a listing that you go this from?

I see some black in the tail... hmm... Buff orpington maybe, probably mix. He's too light to be a RIR for sure, can't wait to see more photos tomorrow
