can tan buffs produce white buffs

We hatched 6 buffs. They are about 6 weeks old...2 of them are white...the rest look like the normal tan...can tan buffs produce white buffs?

I always assumed "Buff" refered to the actual color of the bird. Where did the eggs come from? And were they supposed to be Buff orpingtons?
