Aloha! Meet Daisy and Pepper. I believe they are Old English Game Bantam hens. They are still pretty darn small and I know they won't get much bigger. I'm just curious about their age. I was told they they were 5 months when I got them about two months ago.

I've noticed the comb on one of them growing and that same hen is growing teeny tiny wattles. Their "voices" have changed a little. They are still quiet but now do a type of copy-cat crowing a few times in the morning.

Excitedly awaiting their first laying - just not sure how close we are.

They look between 4-5 months. I've got some OEGB pullets that are 6 months, & aren't laying yet. Probably won't get eggs till spring.

Yep...sounds right. I was starting to doubt that these little birds were 7 months old. I went digging through some old posts and it does seem like they are closer to 4 months old right now.
