Can you sex silver laced Barnevelder by their white chests?

Wondering if white chest is a sign of cockerel in silver laced Barnevelder or if that’s a myth? This one’s around 3 weeks old.

You can find some good info on sexing the Barnevelders here on the Barnvelders.net homepage. They state, "Contrary to belief, the colour of the breast when they hatch is not an accurate method of sexing Barnevelders." Hope that helps.

That will not help sex the chicks
But if you take a picture of her or him in 3 to 5 weeks and post it we could tell you the sex

Ok, thanks! I was trying to decide whether to get her or not from a breeder who I’m getting other chicks from...maybe I’ll risk it cause it’s cute!
