What does everyone bed their coops with? Right now my girls are on straw but I am finding it hard to clean....any suggestions for the summer and next winter??

Shaving are much better than straw. Way easier to clean, straw tangles too much.

I use both. Shaving in my poop trays under the roosts and a mix or one or the other for the floor. Hay in the pen (only penned in winter)... I don't find one easier than the other for the floor of my current adult coop (dirt floor, pitch folk and rake to clean)... But shaving are great in my juvenile coop (wood floor I sweep out).
