Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitter (gonna try it out tonight!)

I've been looking local for the past couple days for the ceramic emitter with no luck. I guess I'll have to order on the internet, but was hoping to have it for this cold snap. I put in the 250 watt red heat bulb and left it run all night. It was -15 F (without windchill) last night and the coop stayed a balmy -2 F inside with the heat bulb and the birds seemed fine this morning. I have a heated base for my water and it still had a thin layer of ice on it this morning. Forcast high was -5 for the next couple days.

for those 10 F to 20 F days ahead.

Somewhere on here I posted internet sites where I ordered my Cereramic Heat Emitter bulbs for WAAYY less than what you will find in any store in person or online (I searched a long time)

Go back and review my threads....you'll find it.

My girls have both a 100W and a 250W running in their coop and with both running (in proper holders with screen protectors) it raises the temp up 10 degrees

I love my ceramic bulb.
The birds egg production went up after I put it in!
They also have a regular bulb that is on from 7 am to 6, stretching daylight just a bit.
