I am a stubborn gal who was told by her neighbors that chickens were illegal in our small town of Smithfield, NC. I want to be able to have a nice urban chicken coup and raise a few Silkie chickens. Im looking for like minded individuals to help create change in our little town. I would appreciate any help yall can offer and am looking for others to help get the ball rolling on changing this ordinance.
