My new chicken house will be here in a few days. Any advice on moving my 8 hens to their new house? They have been in their current house since were chicks, so 3 years. And to make it more confusing, the new house will be in a new spot and old house will be taken down. I was thinking to take them out of the old house when they roost for the night and carry to the new house and then leave them locked up for a few days before letting them loose to roam as they are accustomed to doing. Does that sound right? Thanks in advance for any advice!
