Cheap egg turner from China

Hey everyone, I’m building a new incubator, and I purchased a really cheap egg turner.
It showed up in pretty bad shape from the mail but I got it mostly patched up.
My question is about the motor. It runs constantly. Is this going to be a problem for incubation? I’m incubating coturnix quail eggs if that makes any difference. I thought about getting a lamp timer or something similar. But I think the motor would still run for a good amount of time every time the timer clicked on.
Any advice?

Should cause no problem. Is the motor loud or does it vibrate a lot? If not you'll be just fine. They turn extremely slow. Beats turning by hand

I'd be interested to see how the rest of the incubator looks.

Seems quiet enough and vibration free. It skips on the track sometimes, I’m going to get hubby to reinforce it I think.
I’ll post the incubator once I get it finished up
