Chick hatching RIGHT NOW! Want to watch?

I have two eggs left. One has already pipped, and the other has pipped internally. The third egg quit after pipping internally, but I didn't expect that chick to thrive anyway because the egg was too long and narrow. The only reason I bothered incubating it at all was because the broody had already been sitting on it.

Looks like "Winnie"s egg isn't far from zipping. The chick inside is very chatty and active.

I have one egg left! Winnie's egg ended up needing help hatching--the chick had zipped but wasn't pushing itself free, so I helped it out of the shell. I don't have a ton of experience with this, so I can't be 100% certain, but the legs seemed to be in an odd position. Once I got her free of the shell, she did just fine. So far she seems to be a perfectly healthy little baby--and yet another barred rock mix! This makes 5 out of the 6 chicks who have hatched so far.
