Chick poop abnormal (pictured), is this coccidiosis?

She didn't. Wouldn't. I've actually switched vets, but the meds were from her. So since the poultry site I linked to had listed Albon 12.5% to be given .05% to a gallon, I calculated that as 1.89 ml per gallon, or .5 ml per quart. I did note that it smelled a little different before it dried and wondered if it was my imagination. Now that it's dry they all smell the same. Should I be quarantining any that I see doing this, or are they ok to stay in if the whole lot are getting the medicine in their water?

Cocci can be carried into the brooder on equipment and hands, and does strike sometimes when they haven't been on dirt. That poo doesn't look good to me either...I never separate anyone for coccidiosis treatment.

Sorry don't have experience with albon.

I am not certain cocci is the problem but with young chicks I am VERY quick to administer Corid for diarrhea. Even not bloody. Sometimes it is just diarrhea.

Thanks for the responses. I've put new water out with the Albon and will keep them together for now. (I didn't really want to stress them further.)

There are some other questions I'd be asking.

Such as,
1. where did you get the chicks?
2. are they on a medicated feed?
3. are they on or in a recently cleaned brooder?
4. are they on clean shavings or just paper towels?
5. have they eaten anything other than chick starter?
6. what type of waterer is being used and was it cleaned at the time of use?
7. are they drinking anything other than water? anything added to the water?
8. are they in a brooder near adult birds?

If it is cocci, I'd be interested in how they contacted it?

I've had chicks hatch in brand new incubators, then put in bran new brooders in my house get it.
