Chicken Garden - Are These Alright?

I have seen many posts where folks give the chickens Romaine lettuce. It has more nutrients than other types of lettuces.
I plan to plant extra for them, but I love Romaine so it may be something of a fight as to who gets how much!

More input is definitely appreciated,

Beets! When I let mine into the garden, they ate the tops, then continued down into the ground until the whole beet was gone. It was kind of cool to see a pit in the ground with a pecked beet as the pit bottom.

So do you grow this garden just for the chickens and you let them go in there and eat what they want?
Then will you have your own separate garden for human consumption?

Mine didn't eat calendula either. I let them have access to the garden after we were done with it. They never did eat the calendula, pretty much everything else was eventually eaten. Ours really liked tomatoes and watermelon. They also haven't been interested in carrots no matter how I give them: cooked, raw, shredded raw.
