I was spraying my hen with poultry protector for mites and she kept flipping out so I grabbed her by her legs and led her to finish apply the spray. When I was done I let her go and she won't put pressure on her left leg. She doesn't squirm when I feel the leg but does squawk. I'm hoping someone can tell me if I should splint it or just keep her quarantined by herself until it heals on its own. This just happened today so I really can't tell if she's eating or drinking. Thanks all for the help in advanced

I would quarantine her and see how she is tomorrow. A lot of the time they are muscle injuries and heal on their own. You don't feel any obvious breaks do you?

So nothings really changed, she's still not using her leg, I don't feel any breaks, unless it's where here toes are. I feel so bad for my girl. Anything else I can do to help her?
