CHICKEN MATH, OR THE MONKEY ON YOUR BACK

They are 9 days in the brooder and I am already planning what color and breed I want to contrast and compliment our BLK Australorps. It's not math, it's an addiction after 12-13 years without chickens.

And chickens are a gateway drug.

Now I have geese, ducks, turkeys, and forever looking at other birds to keep. It's a hobby that can keep you busy for decades. There are no bad choices.
