There are some beautiful chickens here

Here is my pretty one. I think she is from a Leghorn hen (could be a California White) and a Barred Rock rooster

I have an incubator full of mutts right now.

Mutts last day in their cheap brooder. It caved in. LOL! No harm done & they are safe in the grow-out coop now.

How old r they!?

They're 6 weeks old now. Very hardy too! Survived the cold snap we had recently. Well, I did have 700 watts of heat in their 4 X 6 coop.

Wow an not out at the coop yet?! Mine was out there at 3 an 1/2 weeks old an tomorrow they turning 5 week old...

Here is a photo of my mutt rooster! I am sure he probably has some RIR and Buff Orp. in him. I am not sure, but those are the 2 breeds the man we got him from had.

Well, its been very cold up here in Canada. I didn't want to chance it. They weren't finished feathering out until they were almost 5 weeks old. I suppose they might have been ok. Ehhh...judgment call. Now I gotta build a partition in main coop so they can join the big kids later. Got to free up some space & keep more chicks coming. Lol!
