how cute i wish my chicks were that small again my modern games are almost as tall as my rooster lol

This is Glory my Giant Blue Cochin rooster. When I first brought him home I thought he was a girl and "she" reminded me of the Penguins on Happy Feet. So I named "her" Gloria. I called "her" Glory for short so I stuck with Glory when I realized he was a he. And now I think Glory is glorious!
 

Name: Fairy Floss (with Butternut behind her)
Reason: Floss is 16 days old in this photo and her down looked longer than everyone else's which is how she earned her name. Fairy Floss is the sweetest thing and is the first to come rushing up to us to be picked up and patted, and is so tolerant of our children. She LOVES her food and we always hand feed treats so I think this has a lot to do with her desire to be our best friend! She will live at my Mum's who has sadly lost 2 Orpingtons at young ages, and she just loves that she is going to have a white Orpington (with the wrong coloured legs, but we don't care).
