Chicken Names- whats your chickens name?

My Buff Orpingtons names are: Circe ( Sear-sea ) and Calliope ( Ka-lie-o-pea ) check my page to figure out where their names originate from and the story about it!

I've only named a handful of mine - based on personality:

Amelia (she was the first woman in flight out of the flock)
Echo (does everything Amelia does)
Lucy (goof little antics - like I Love Lucy)
Duke - (big cockerel - twice the size of the others)
Bobby Lee - (small cockerel with a take charge attitude)

Sandy - Ameraucana
Speckles - SLW
Lilly - Light Brahma
Maggie - NHR

They are 14 weeks olds

Then there are the 4 week old Black Australorps I am raising for someone else...one is named Lucy and one is named Chaos (chaos follows her)....the other three are nameless.

Then we have 21 more coming July 23rd and they will all be named after Harry Potter characters (so my DD says).

I'm alittle weird when it comes to naming animals. Her goes a few. First ever batch of key west chickens,PITA, DH named him bringing him home, he peeped the whole way,Rosy the mom, named after my great aunt whose yard I caught them in,Mango, Mallory, Buche(cuban coffee) Truman,and Stella. All have something to do with key west. I also had a batch I hatched one summer and named them all after hurricanes, Rita, Denise and Wilma. Had Jose Cuervo,(JC) May and Margarita, all born on cinco de mayo.I'll stop now, I could be here all day if I named everyone, don't get me going on my goats!
