Buff Orps: Goldie & Priss
RIR: Rosie & Scarlet
Barred Rocks: Millie, Billie, & Leila
Sex Links: Delilah & Gertrude

Red Rooster: NuRoo (unoriginal I know)

The Buff Orps are the sweetest girls ever!

Our Buff Orp, I agree, sweetest, cutest ever. Her name is Buffy. Barred Rocks are called the Dixie Chicks, Millie and Mo. Black Australorp is Inky.

My Barred Rock chicks are three weeks old and I can finally tell them apart. I wanted names that go with their breed so I named them from girls in rock songs. I also like the old fashioned names that a lady might have and this is what I came up with:
Lucy -- Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds/ The Beatles
Alice -- Jefferson Airplane/ White Rabbit
Jane -- Jane's Addiction/ Jane Says

I find a lot of people use Lucy for a name and Ethel. I'm not very original with movie or song names. My barred R's are called, the Dixie chicks, Millie and Mo. My black Australorp is Inky.

I just gave seven of my eight new baby chicks Game of Thrones names. Arya, Ollena, Cersei, Nymeria, Sansa, Catelyn, and Dany. The eighth is unnamed because my daughter hasn't decided yet and that one is hers.
