Chicken walking like a duck

My Mom has a chicken who started walking weird. Upright like a duck kind of. Sorta like dragging her butt and standing straight up and waddles like a duck when walking. She started doing this about 2 years ago when she was 1.5 years old. It comes and goes but mostly comes. She is not egg bound as she is still laying.

Anyone know what I'm describing?

Have you checked her for mites? Usually, it is a symptom of being egg bound, but mine had a severe mite infestation. It could also be a symptom of internal laying, too.
