Chickens feet?

hello! I have 4 chickens and every single one of my girls feet looks like this. I don't know how to get it off without hurting them. I tried soaking her feet in water, but I didn't work. please help!!

Well all I know and I haven't read it all but with Bantams and ther feathered feet you have to watch out - I just make sure their bedding is dry every day,because they get it wet in the rain. Mine are quite good are cleaning themelves, but we have had a huge rain storm and I bought lot of 'top soil' for their run whch turned out to be liquid s**t.

What I did was to just dry their feet with kitchen paper??? it soaks up to sog and left them to the rest.

Oh well my post wa useless - better check out the thread on diseases/or feet... sorry looks really nasty...

well, it's just mud all compact but it has a hard shell thing around it. it's hard to explain. but is there anything I can soak their feet in to help???

Go to the emergencies/diseases/cures thread and type in cacked mud on feet - there is info on how to clean their feet..
