with a smaller flock, a lot of birds are attacking one bird...what to do? i pulled "him" out and isolated with his own food and water. he is a capon...but has curled toes from Bresse Farms...the rest of the flock pecked at the back of his head. i put bactine on it and have been nursing "his" wounds daily.

he's eating and drinking...

ironically, "he" is next to a bunch of 6 week pullets and they all sleep together next to a screen. should i just combine them?

I'd wait for the wound(s) to completely heal first before putting him with the pullets. Curled toes could be a genetic issue, but more likely a riboflavin deficiency.
