chicks delayed in mail HELP!

Hi I'm pretty new here but have raised chicks a couple times now in the last few years. I ordered chicks from ideal poultry and they were hatched and shipped on monday 6/12 long story short they were still in TX this morning 6/14 instead of Idaho where I am. I will be extremely surprised if they are here tomorrow apparently something happened with the post office. Anyway if any of theses poor babies are still alive whenever I finally do get them are there any special things I can do or add something to their water to help them besides the usual getting them started drinking eating and warm? I know they're going to be severely stressed at best. Thanks for any ideas

it is cheapest and easiest to grab some pedialyte and add a little extra sugar to it and use that as water for them for the first day.

Grow Gel is good to use also along with pedialyte

You could instead (of grow gel) scramble up some eggs for food.
