Chicks not eating their starter feed

If you are feeding them scratch or sunflower seeds you will need to provide them with grit--crushed stone--that will allow them to properly grind the grains and seeds with their gizzard or else they will suffer from impacted crop.

I'd stop the sunflower seeds too until they start eating the starter again. Given a choice chicks will always eat desert first which is what all the other things are. all treats together should not be over 10% of their total diet. They won't like it but they will go back to eating the starter long before they starve. The starter is what they need right now while their growing. I usually feed 1 bag starter then switch to grower till their laying.
