chicks not putting themselves up at night

I put my 6 week old chicks outside 9 days ago and they are in a chicken tractor where the run is below coop and they come down every morning fine but will not go back up at night on their own....I would think after week they would start doing this but they are not so my question is how long will it take?

Mine were in the coupe/run all of 2 days before they started taking their selves back inside at night! But of course they were broke in the tough way! I went on vacation and left my husband to care for them! He just went out there and shut the door when they were all up, where I was goin out there and putting them up the first two days!
