I would like to suppliment my feed with a bit more protien. Is it okay to feed raw ground beef or venison to young chicks in moderation?

Yup, in moderation. Protien requirements vary with the breed, but regular barnyard types can get along just fine on comercial starter/grower. Oriental breeds do better on lower protien. Be moderate in any supplement as high protien can lead to joint problems as they grow........Pop
