Chicks pecking at each other sign of being too "cooped" up :}

Last night aour little rooster started pecking at our little EE.. Her tail feathers started to bleed.... We had to seperate her from the other 3 because they all started at her once she was bleeding. I washed her off and put her in her own brooder...

How do I keep them from pecking out her tail feathers? Are they too "cooped" up ???

I have had them for only about a weelk and a half, but they are almost completely feathered out and they get trips outside every day...

Maybe they are bored. What color heat lamp do you have?

It's just a regular clear bulb.. That's what I though.. That they were getting bored, but I have to get them to be nice somehow, lol
