Chicks wouldn't go in the coop?!

They did it again tonight. If they weren't so inaccessible, I could pick them up and place them in the coop.

Mine took three days of putting them in the coop at night. On the fourth night they went in by themselves at almost dark.

I used a small kids rake to scare them out from under the coop the first night. The second and third nights they were just clumped together near the ramp so I scooped them up pretty easily. I wonder if they would have gone in by themselves those days too if I had not interceded. I tried to move them in when the bigs went in. Maybe they intuitively knew to wait until the bigs had settled in a bit before going in. Hang in there. They will get it if you keep moving them in there.
