The White Rock pullet in this photo is 12 weeks, cockerels are 10 weeks, to give a comparison of the size.
 
Well then I send this intention to the both of you.
We are done. I just have to vacuum seal them. Should have pics soon.

We did 3 older cockerels about 9 months old. They weren’t good breeders and quite aggressive to the ladies. They’ll be less stressed now. I always wait to see how a cockerel will do. Unfortunately one was the porcelain d’uccle because it turned out to be a cockerel.

When I first saw this I thought this was one of those funny photos someone made where they wrapped the skin of a chicken around a a steak. Then I read it was a duck. I knew their meat was darker but I wasn't expecting beef red as the color.
