Chukar & Bobwhites?

can you keep these 2 species together? (jumbo wisconsin bobs- a pair.) (maybe 3-4 chukar) i have a 3'x6' ground pen that i would keep them in w/ tree branches, straw, grass etc. thanks

I think that may be a little too small for Chukars, I have a little experience with them, and they need a decent amount of space or they kill eachother.

They can be canabalistic when crowded.

is there a ratio to use to figure out how much room a chuk needs? you know like what we say is standard for chickens is 4 square feet per bird...

Nope... the more the better on Chukars.

There probably is, but they like LOTS of space.

I would not house the two species together, but it could probably be done with the right environment.
