Not really but they are excellent mothers and very docile and friendly. Great roos too not aggressive I keep a few for broodys and use them for my roos as I have kids and don't tolerate aggressive roos.

I really hope my little blue guy gets use to me soon. He is very curious but runs off if I move. Need to go sit in the coop and visit. Coffee break in the coop.

Ok everyone I know the speckled is a roo. He is crowing. Lol. And trying to breed my guineas.
What's everyone guess on my white one. I got the march 28th.

Nikki816, what if you have a lavender hen bred with a blue roo? She doesnt have the dark splashes of blue, just a very very slight tint of blue.

If she is lavender and not blue, then you "should" get black that carry Lavender

Nikki816, thank you! I really thought she was lavender, but now she is developing darker splashes. so now is she a splash or a lavendersplash?? Because lil lady sure isn't bright white like the one I lost.
