Cochin Thread!!!

I'm assuming mufasa is the rooster, since he's a male on the lion king. So I'd say Nala and Sarabie are blue. Mufasa however looks like he has some gold on his neck and wing feathers

I would say that your girls were blue. I am not sure about Thor. Mufasa is mottled.

i have 2 cochins a white cochin, her name is snowy, she is 2 weeks old, and i have a black bantam cochin, her name is lucy, she is 1 year and like 3 months old. sorry i dont have any pics.

For anyone interested... I found this "On-line" Cochin show. It looks like they already had the Winter Show, but I see that there is a Summer show coming up.

I like the idea of this, because you don't have to travel, take your bird out of it's environment, or expose it to whatever's out there. You get to hear reviews by a professional judge, and learn more about your Cochins confirmation.

Just wanted to let you know, we would love to have you participate in the on line show, but just so you know you must be a member of Cochins International to enter. It's a small fee and you get a lot for the little bit of money you put out. Hope to see you.
