columbian rock cross

I never see anything on the columbian rock cross, does anyone have them and what do you think of them. I got mine from Mt.Healthy...

I've never had any, but one of my neighbors got some this spring, also from Mt. Healthy. The girls look and act a lot like Delawares to me. I will say their temperament seems less bossy than the average RIR red sex link type bird which is a plus. From what they say they are decent layers, not quite as good as the red stars, but better than most heavy breeds.

That's what I thought they do look like Delawares, so sweet and friendly my barred rocks for lack of a better term"suck" I can't even get near them they are so skittish. Thanks for the info.

The birds need to associate you with food. Once they do this, they will not be skittish around you. Let them get hungry and throw food to them. Do this on a regular basis and they will learn you are not going to hurt them.
