When people order more than one breed of day old chicks from a hatchery, they don't need to do anything special. Chicks are like young puppies and will all get along.

If they want to combine adults that don't know each other, then they need to be introduced and watched for aggression issues, after a suitable quarantine period. There are a lot of threads on here about introducing chickens or adding to the flock.
