Composting feathers?

Hey guys. Pretty new to gardening here. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck using shed feathers for use as compost. How would I go about doing that? Thank you!

I just rake them up and dump them in the pile. Adds extra N to the finished soil. I've also split old feather pillows and added them.

Feathers, like other protein, take a bit longer to disappear into compost. However, your plants won't mind, it will just be like twigs, to them. Also, they will probably not attract predators or other diggers.

Feathers get cleaned out with the manure, bedding, and Run debris. When composted correctly (hot compost) they just disappear when they are in the middle of that pile.
