OMGOSH! I just lost my black copper marans to coyotes last night.... Im so sad! Yours would beat mine in beauty though. lol and pepper doesnt really know his name that well but will come when called. Marans are the best!

Thank you so much. No, everyone grew up together. I have chickens, turkeys, guineas on land and they make one big flock. The chickens go off on their own at night but the guineas and turkeys go sleep together. The guineas follow my Samson around like they are his minions and groom him! My waterfowl do their water thing but everyone at certain times of the day will all lay together on land. The swans, ducks, geese, turkeys, gunieas, and chickens. They all work together to watch out for each other too, very fascinating to watch. I call it farm TV.
